I am not sure what it is about surfboards. I have participated in many sports in my life. I have broken more surf boards in 2 months than I have any other piece of sporting equipment.  I broke two while in Nicaragua and put more dings in my own than a well traveled gypsy cab. Fortunately while there I came across Jacques. He is from Maine and is a teacher. He makes and fixes boards in his spare time. He is also in central america for the summer.
