Today our good friend Traver had to leave us here in Nicaragua to return to the real world.  Traveling can be such an interesting thing. I feel like if you are open to the experiences you can meet some of the most interesting and wonderful people. Traver was no exception. We have been here almost two weeks and here was our next door neighbor in “Papa Smurf’s” house.

 

Traver is an excellent surfer. He has lived in California for some time. And this is his second time to Playa Gigante. This time lasted for almost 6 months. In Gigante you can surf twice a day. And for a good part of his stay he did just that.  He also worked from the aptly named “Boob” doing acupuncture, fitness programming, writing books and a whole slew of things.

Our new buddy sadly had to leave us to get back to a world full of questions and possibilities. I wish him the best in life and safe travels back. I hope it all works out for you bud and if you ever see him or meet him give him a hug.
